Come and live the ultimate trapping experience. Right in the middle of 45 square kilometres of private trap lines. You will see the steps in harvesting fur bearing animals such as beavers, otters, minks, fishers, martens and many more.
Enjoy and see how trappers have been living in Canada’s Wilderness for hundreds of years.
You will be visiting the trap line in a well equipped Polaris 800 Ranger geared for rugged winter and trail. You will surely enjoy the ride.
Start your day by waking up in a warm log cabin, join us in the main lodge for a good breakfast. The adventure will begin when we leave to check and install traps for different species of animals. Around noon, we will take a break, have lunch outside the trapper’s camps and warm up next to a nice camp fire.
In the afternoon, we will return to check the traps while heading to a beautiful remote lake to do some ice fishing for the rest of the day. Maybe even have your catch cooked for you at dinner...
To crown the day, you can enjoy a nice hearty homemade dinner.
Afterwards, all there is left to do is sit back, relax in your rustic log cabin and possibly watch and help your guide skin the capture of the day.
It will be an adventure that you will remember for the rest of your life.
